HAIQEEM (Al Hakeem Muhammad II) - born in 1995 in Oklahoma City, OK - is an indie rock and alternative artist fusing blues, rock, and cinematic pop. Based in Dallas, he's the artist-producer and founder of Velvet Claw Hollywood. His breakout "Don't Give A Damn" hit #41 on U.S. Airplay, reached #1 on iTunes Turkey, and earned Grammy consideration. In 2025, he headlined the first Afro Goth Festival in Las Vegas and released "The Night" with Nemuri Vyza, nodding to his upcoming Japanese album "Yoru to Yume (A Night and a Dream)"

Nemuri Vyza (born Visa Aiko Williams) in 1998, is a Japanese–African American artist whose music drifts between electronic pop, alt-rock, and intimate confession.After losing both parents during the pandemic, Vyza retreated to Malibu, where she began recording under her Japanese name “Nemuri,” meaning sleep. SOMNURAL is an ambient sleep, meditation, and wellness project created by recording artist and producer HAIQEEM, exploring the quiet territory between consciousness, dreams, and stillness through music, sensory experiences, and lifestyle products.

Blending modern music technology with organic instrumentation, SOMNURAL creates immersive sound environments designed not simply to be heard, but to become part of the listener’s surroundings. Atmospheric textures, slow-moving harmonies, subtle rhythms, and instruments including the Japanese shamisen converge into music for sleep, meditation, reflection, relaxation, and moments when the outside world needs to become a little quieter.

Rather than separating technology from traditional musicianship, SOMNURAL embraces both. Digital sound design exists alongside acoustic performance, allowing centuries-old musical colors to drift through distinctly contemporary ambient landscapes.

The project begins with Until Morning Finds You, a ten-track journey through the progression of a sleepless night—from the moment the room becomes quiet and the eyes grow heavy, through dreams, the astral plane, and the deepest hours before dawn, until morning finally approaches.

Beyond recorded music, SOMNURAL is developing a collection of physical products centered on the rituals and environment surrounding rest. The collection explores scent, touch, temperature, comfort, darkness, and other sensory elements of the nighttime experience, creating objects intended to complement the atmosphere established by the music. Together, the music and physical collection position SOMNURAL as a broader world of rest rather than simply a recording project.

SOMNURAL will also extend into live and immersive experiences, bringing together ambient music, meditation, relaxation, and sensory environments designed to temporarily remove audiences from the noise and pace of everyday life.

SOMNURAL represents another side of HAIQEEM’s creative world. Away from the immediacy of songs built around lyrics and performance, the project asks the listener to do almost nothing at all.

Locd Goddess (Melanie Brooks) is a recording artist blending modern hip-hop, pop, and New Age influences into music centered on confidence, spirituality, sensuality, manifestation, and unapologetic self-expression. Her sound pairs contemporary hip-hop and pop production with the atmosphere and introspection of New Age music, creating a distinctive space where empowerment meets spirituality. As part of Velvet Claw Hollywood, Locd Goddess brings bold personality, humor, vulnerability, and mysticism to a sound entirely her own.
